Further to our (eGenie Forum) announcement of the 17th of May 2022, where we got together with Black Box and Singapore Polytechnic, to collaborate and promote research and development in the area of AI, Data Science and Analytics for the Maritime and Shipping Industry – we have more reason to be optimistic of the challenges and solutions with procurement and supply chain through ground-breaking integration and automation, combined with uniform standards with catalogues.

SASS (Singapore Association of Shipsuppliers and Services) and eGF (eGenie Forum) have signed an agreement on 27th May, 2022.

The eGF Council has unanimously agreed to allow SASS members the usage of the eGenie Catalogue at no cost for the first 2-years and thereafter, a nominal fee from the 3rd year onwards, as part of data maintenance as Associate Members.

SGTraDex was created as the result of the Singapore Together Alliance for Action (AfA) on Supply Chain Digitalisation. The eGF have developed a first paper simulation of sharing data and documents through SGTraDEX and are in validation. The AI-enabled and Machine Learning product can be deployed to make swift recommendations of the right SKUs based on unstructured descriptions in RFQ.

The eGenie Forum was represented by John Beck, President and SASS was represented by Danny Lien, President.
